THE BRIEF

Create the copy — and the voice — for new payments-abroad brand, Equals Money, launched by currency exchange and consumer payments business, FairFX.

Equals Money offers multi-currency cards and international payments to business and personal customers, leading with simplicity, great rates, great value, and a sharp brand.

The brand’s voice — in all the ways it would be used — needed to reflect these values, with easy-to-understand humanity, conversation, and professionalism.

THE WORK

As the sole writer on the design and marketing teams, I was lucky to work on:

  • all UX copy for the Equals Money personal app, including onboarding, payments, error messaging, FAQs, tooltips, …

  • UX copy for the Equals Money business international payments platform

  • CRM email campaigns

  • system emails

  • website copy

  • brand pack and card carrier

  • a new style guide
